Benefits of Volunteering with us:

Our organisation relies on volunteers to keep our operations going. They work alongside our team to sort, cook, or deliver surplus food across London to our community partners.  

• Get out of the office and enjoy a day of learning kitchen skills and sustainable ways to cook

• Directly support an award-winning charity and the local community it serves

• Take part in excellent practical team building activities whilst supporting London’s people with nutritional meals
  

We prioritise group volunteering spots for our corporate partners as part of our partnership package, recognising our partner’s vital support and commitment to our mission through time and donations.

We reserve a small number of volunteering days each year for non-profit organisations and government departments who would like to get involved but do not have the ability to donate.

Here’s what you need to know:

• Volunteering is prioritised for our corporate partners.

• We charge £50 per person per day for a full day at RCK (10am - 6pm) . This helps cover the cost of lunch, logistics and keeping our service running sustainably.

• The day includes a delicious nutritious lunch, made in our kitchens by our chefs and volunteers with ingredients from our sustainable suppliers..

• Any leftover funds go towards our fundraisers to ensure the positive impacts of your day at RCK are long-lasting.

• We can accommodate groups up to 3 people per session in our Gospel Oak kitchen and teams of 12 in Calais.
